Our Second Annual Motorized

1. Ride‑Along Car Contest Returns!

Get ready for another season of smiles! Soul 2 Sol’s beloved Motorized Ride‑Along Car Contest is back, beginning July 2026. Last year, more than 100 families entered, and three lucky winners drove home in brand‑new black ride‑along cars, a moment of pure joy for children and parents alike.

This year’s contest promises even more excitement, community spirit, and opportunities to celebrate kindness in motion. Stay tuned for entry details and join us as we continue spreading joy, one ride at a time.

        2. Back-to-School 9: Next Level Support

We are eagerly anticipating our first annual back-to-school initiative; 9: Next Level Impact in 2027. Our Back-to-School Initiative provides backpacks, supplies, and wellness tools that help kids feel ready, supported, and proud. For many families facing financial strain, school shopping can feel overwhelming — especially when rent, mortage, groceries, and bills take priority.

Through community generosity and partnerships, we bridge that gap. Each backpack becomes more than a bag of supplies — it becomes a message of hope, belonging, and possibility. This year, we’re expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and ensuring even more students start the year with everything they need to shine.

3. Buddy Bear — Comfort, Care, and Emotional Wellness

Buddy Bear continues to be one of the most beloved parts of our Kids Wellness Series. Designed to help children feel safe, understood, and emotionally supported, Buddy Bear teaches simple wellness tools that kids can use every day.

From breathing exercises to affirmations, Buddy Bear reminds children that their feelings matter and that they are never alone. Families tell us how much their children connect with Buddy Bear’s kindness, and how these tools help them navigate big emotions with confidence and calm. Stay tuned for new Buddy Bear activities, coloring pages, and wellness tips coming soon.

     4. Soul 5 Squad — Meet the Heroes of Kindness

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Soul 5 Squad on YouTube, where Buddy Bear’s friends come to life through stories of kindness, courage, and emotional wellness. Join Carla, Mateo, Phallon, Adina, and Amir as they explore friendship, feelings, and fun in every episode. Each adventure celebrates diversity, inclusion, and the power of empathy, and helping children see themselves as heroes of heart and hope.  

The characters represent a unique strength, creativity, courage, empathy, resilience, and joy. Together, they help children explore emotional wellness in a fun, and relatable way. From Mateo’s bravery to Phallon’s creativity, and Carla’s leadership, Soul 5 Squad shows kids that their inner strengths are powerful and worth celebrating.

5. Toy GiveawayS & Community Drives

Since 2020, Soul 2 Sol has gifted over 1,300 toys to children across San Diego, two brand-new toys per child, delivered with dignity and love. Each holiday season, families face heartbreaking choices: paying rent, buying groceries, or providing gifts for their children. Many simply cannot do both.

Our toy drives and giveaways fill that gap. Through community partners, friends, family, local businesses, and generous donors, we ensure that every child feels the magic of the season. The smiles, the excitement, the relief — these moments remind us why this work matters. This year, our goal is to provide 300 children with new toys, and with your support, we’ll reach even more families who need hope and joy.
